Amanda White Back

Amanda White originally studied theatre design in London and it’s a training that still shows in her work. She eventually moved to the Canary Islands where she lives with her family and other animals in the midst of banana groves.
Her collage work is seen as greeting cards under her own label Amanda White Design, on licensed products such as notebooks, calendars, cushions and even on the catwalk in Shenzhen after her work inspired a fashion collection by a Chinese designer.
Recently she has collaborated with homeware company The Shop Floor Project and Anthropologie UK.
Her pictures are in many private, corporate and public collections such as the Rutherston, Manchester City Art Gallery and the Musee International d’Art Naif, Canada.
In 2014 she won the Grand Prix du Jury at the Musee International d’Art Naif in Magog, Quebec and last year was short-listed for the AOI Prize for Illustration.
