Born in Bristol in 1956 where I studied part time in fine art and ceramics at the Folk House art institute and at the RWA,Queens road.

Relocating in 2002 to West Cornwall with its rugged coastline and restless landscape it has provided inspiration for my paintings.
My work in pen and ink uses a freer more intuitive use of the media to produce a subtle balance of fluidity and detail.The medium is capable of an enormous range of effects.I like to use a combination of pigment liner pens,dip pens and technical pens with applied colour from acrylic ink and the occasional flash of gold leaf..

Original paintings and prints are widely shown at various galleries in Cornwall and I have undertaken commissions from clients around the country.
I have a studio at the Saltcellar workshops on the harbour side in the historic port of Porthleven.
