I was a nurse by profession, working mainly in General Practice.

I started painting in oils and watercolours when my family were young as a means of relaxation

Living on the wonderful north Cornwall coast my subjects are mainly coast and harbours.

Over the years I have attended many courses and workshops up and down the country with some well known artists and have exhibited with 2 local art societies for many years.

Now I love the brilliant colours of acrylics, which I find perfect for naïve painting. People say my paintings make them smile. They certainly do that for me as I paint them.
