I have always enjoyed painting since childhood. My artwork has developed from early drawing lessons at school and later from a short course of silkscreen fabric printing at the Chelsea School of Art in London.

I was born in Cambridge, England to New Zealand parents and am married to an American. I have lived in New Zealand, The West Indies, Germany, Spain, Canada and America and have now settled back in England.

Whilst living abroad in quiet moments,I found it relaxing to record on paper and canvas, sceneswhich had caught my eye, anything fun, happy and whimsical. Colour and design are important to me. People feature a lot in my paintings in festive scenes, horse races, garden parties,children playing on beaches etc.

I have exhibited in shows and galleries mainly in London and America(New Jersey, Ohio and Naples, Florida). I have had three solo shows, one in Cincinnati at Gallery 48, WCET and two in London at New Zealahnd House and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
