Nicole’s paintings are often from her imagination and memory. Others are from observation of life events, working from drawings made at the scene, as in The Cajan Festival. She has worked as a techer, a restoration artist and a graphic designer. She has always drawn since childhood. At the age of 15 she attended evening classes at the National Art School in Australia. On leaving school she took as three year course there in illustration having won the Special Art Scholarship.
