Painting in watercolours since 2003 after studing at Art College, Pete loves painting outdoors on site and as he often says ‘I just paint Everday folk in Everyday situations’ which people seem to relate and warm to.
Many have commented that his work is a bit like the L S Lowry especially his father who calls him ‘Lowry Pete’, but in fact his style is totally unique and certainly more colourful having a special charm of its own.
As a tribute to his father who was a North east miner you will often see Petes trademark little black dog ‘Charlie’ (after his father),and his little black cat ‘Coleman’ which often play a starring role in his paintings.
His work is gaining many collectors especially in the UK and he exhibits regularly.
