Born December 1975, Serena has lived in Cornwall all her life. She always loved drawing and has since made a living from the sale of reproductions and occasionally exhibits her original paintings locally.
Serena never went to college but was encouraged by her father (a graduate from the Royal College of Art).
Now living in Padstow she is inspired by holiday makers and local seaside towns.
Her paintings capture a memory of her visit, including as much detail and humour as possible. These paintings have come to be known as the ‘Salad Days Collection’.
In the future, Serena would like to produce some city paintings as a change from the usual small coastal towns.
