Born in Plymouth, Devon 1962, emigrated to Perth Western Australia 1969. We moved to the UK in 1990 and eventually settled in Cornwall, on the Roseland Peninsula, where we still live. I paint on a variety of surfaces from canvas to boxes to cupboard doors, and I am always experimenting with colour, texture and technique. My paintings reflect my interests in the magic and mystery of the world both seen and unseen, colour plays a major part reflecting the mood and hopefully giving the viewer a happy positive experience. I exhibit and sell my work from Melinsey Mill, Veryan, Nr Truro, which is a beautiful 16th century water mill and café set in a secret wooded valley, open April–October, this is where I also work. My latest venture is to paint your house and family, something personal that takes all the elements of your life, and captures it on canvas.
