Judy was brought up in Chichester, West Sussex. After leaving the BBC where she worked as a Production Assistant, she started to paint purely for her own and her children’s amusement. Out of the blue she was offered an exhibition in London and her paintings are now in collections all over the world. Somewhere in each of her paintings is the white haired figure of her Mum with a dog. Judy always wanted one day to run her own gallery – and in 2005 her wish came true and she and her husband now run The Little Picture Gallery in the lovely unspoilt Cornish fishing village of Mousehole where they have lived since 1992.
Judy especially enjoys painting commissions of life stories, weddings and people’s houses.
