About
Maxine Hodgson uses watercolour and ink, or acrylic, to create art that feels like a window into a world of playful imagination.
If you take a moment to look at any of Maxine’s artwork, you’ll see a smile come to your face. Inspired by real-life places, each piece carries a personal story, with Maxine often drawing from the sights around her, including local buildings, businesses, and the people, pets, and characters that add interest.
Maxine lives with her husband, Alan, and their pet dog, Princess Dorothy Twinkletoes, a miniature schnauzer. She divides her time between the UK and southwestern France.
